Computer Labs

The College features two modern computer laboratories, fully equipped with the latest technology and software to support academic learning and digital skills development. Both computer labs are located in the Zan Moreas campus.

The computer labs are integrated into the teaching and learning process and are used during scheduled classes, workshops, and practical sessions. Outside of class hours, students may also use the facilities to complete assignments, conduct academic research, access online learning platforms, and utilise essential digital resources. In addition, the computers in the library are available for leisure and personal use, providing students with a flexible and supportive digital environment throughout their studies.

The computer labs have the Oracle software installed, which is used by hospitality students to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard hotel and tourism management systems. Through practical training, students learn how to manage reservations, front-office operations, guest profiles, billing, and reporting, mirroring real-world hotel environments. This exposure enhances students’ digital competence, operational understanding, and employability, preparing them to transition confidently into professional roles within the global hospitality industry.

Library

Academic libraries are vibrant learning communities and, in the digital age, have evolved into modern Information Centres. The primary role of the Casa College Library is to support teaching, learning, and research by providing access to print and electronic resources, managing online information, and assisting users in navigating digital and academic sources.

The Casa College Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Zan Moreas Campus and operates Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. It is fully computerised, offering computer terminals with internet access, an online catalogue, and wireless connectivity throughout the space. Library users receive support in locating books, journals, periodicals, and conducting effective online research.

Casa College offers its registered students access to EBSCO, the leading global provider of online research databases and digital library solutions for academic institutions. The EBSCO Online Library supports teaching, learning, and research by offering access to a vast collection of peer-reviewed journals, academic articles, e-books, conference proceedings, magazines, and other scholarly resources across a wide range of disciplines.

EBSCO

Designed to meet the needs of students, faculty, and researchers, EBSCO provides advanced search tools, subject indexing, full-text access, and user-friendly interfaces that enable efficient discovery, evaluation, and use of high-quality academic content. Its platforms support information literacy, independent research, and evidence-based learning while integrating seamlessly with institutional library systems and learning environments.

Through EBSCO, academic institutions enhance research quality, expand digital access to authoritative sources, and ensure their academic communities remain informed, research-driven, and globally connected.

Casa College Online Library

The Casa College Online Library collections are organised using the Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDCS), ensuring efficient access to books, journals, and reference materials. The library operates the KOHA Open-Source Integrated Library System, allowing users to search the catalogue by author, title, keyword, or subject. The library is currently cataloguing its full collection to international standards.

To support research, the library provides access to a wide range of open-access academic databases, including DOAB, DOAJ, BASE, CORE, ROAD, Open Knowledge Repository, and OpenAire. In addition, Casa College is a member of EBSCO, enabling students to access.

Kitchen & Restaurant Lab

The College takes great pride in the specialised facilities it offers to its hospitality students. The College is equipped with a fully functional, professional-standard training kitchen and restaurant, both purpose-designed to serve as teaching laboratories for the Hotel Administration and short course programmes.

These facilities are an integral part of the curriculum and are extensively used during practical cooking sessions and Food & Beverage modules. They provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge, develop technical and operational skills, and practise professional standards in a real-life hospitality environment. Through hands-on training, students gain valuable experience that prepares them for the demands of the hospitality industry and enhances their confidence and employability upon graduation.

Cafeteria

The College Cafeteria located at the Zan Moreas campus provides a welcoming and comfortable space where students and staff can relax, socialise, and recharge between classes. Offering a variety of affordable meals, snacks, and beverages, the cafeteria caters to diverse tastes and dietary preferences, making it a convenient daily hub of campus life.

Designed to support student well-being, the cafeteria combines a friendly atmosphere with quality food and efficient service, whether for a quick coffee break or a casual meal with friends. It also serves as a central meeting point, encouraging interaction and a strong sense of community within the College.

Sports

The College maintains a long-standing partnership with the Cyprus Sports Organisation, whose facilities are widely regarded as among the best in Cyprus. This valued collaboration enables our students to access high-quality sports infrastructure and encourages an active, healthy, and balanced student lifestyle.

The College actively promotes student participation in sports and physical activity by offering sports scholarships and additional benefits, where applicable. Students also have the opportunity to become members of various local sports teams, including cricket, which has a well-established local league in Cyprus.

In addition, students may join our partner gym, located conveniently just 200 m from the College, at a discounted membership rate, further supporting their wellbeing and fitness throughout their studies.
