MMAJunkie broke the information that heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will face Francis Ngannou in UFC 220 on Jan. 20 in TD Garden in Boston.
Miocic (17-2) is now riding a five-fight win streak including a first-round TKO victory over Junior Dos Santos at UFC 211 back in May. The 35-year-old has won eight of his last nine fights. Ngannou (11-1) has stayed undefeated in the UFC and conquered Alistair Overeem final weekend at UFC 218 by first-round knockout. The 31-year-old hasn’t lost a fight.
