Casa College Champions Environmental
Responsibility
As the government advances its
renewable energy goals, Casa College
aims to contribute towards Cyprus’
green transition by encouraging
students to take responsibility for
keeping their surroundings clean. The
college recognizes that a sustainable
future depends not only on national
policies but also on the everyday actions
of people living and studying here.
For many students, Cyprus becomes
their second home. Casa College
emphasises the importance of
respecting the country’s environment,
culture, and public spaces. Students are
encouraged to avoid littering, use waste
bins properly, recycle, and help keep
both the campus and nearby streets tidy.
Staff and faculty support these efforts
by maintaining clean facilities, promoting
recycling, and assisting student-led Casa College is also working to reduce
clean-up campaigns.
its use of paper materials across all
departments. By promoting digital tools
for learning, assignments, and
administrative tasks, the college is
aiming to cut down waste while
improving efficiency. This initiative is
part of a broader plan to integrate more
digital solutions into study and campus
life by 2026, aligning with the college’s
commitment reducing its
environmental footprint.
Our students will know that we use
printed material on noticeboards to
promote upcoming events. However,
we want to reduce this somewhat and
thus really encourage students to take
notice of notices on our digital
platforms to reduce paper waste.
