Director of Casa Research Centre
Dr. Milani Miranda Austria is currently the Director of Casa College Research Centre. She holds a BSc in Computer Data Processing Management, an MBA, an MAED in Educational Leadership, and a PhD in Technology Education. She has been the Dean of the School of Technology and in Computer Studies and Engineering in the Philippines for many years, as well as a Lecturer in Hospital Management, Business Administration, Education, and Information Technology. Dr. Austria also has a great experience in academia. She is an Accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities – Commission on Accreditation and the former Chair in the Training Committee of the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Philippine Computer Society- Philippine Information and Computing Accreditation Board; a paper reviewer for various international journals and conferences all over the world; and, an Editorial Board Member in academic journals. She has also many publications in various academic journals and books, and has received the title of Java Education Development Initiative (JEDI) Champion and a Teaching Award.

Duties of the Director of Casa College Research Centre
The Director is responsible for:
- overseeing the implementation of the College’s research policies related to promoting quality and encouraging excellence;
- creating committees to evaluate research proposals based on the evaluation criteria approved by the College;
- conducting meetings, training, mentoring programmes for the faculty; and
- endorsing papers for international research presentations and publications.
