Internships

Industry Internships are a core component of Hospitality and Tourism Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, providing students with practical, real-world experience alongside their academic studies. Placements with hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism organisations, event companies, and related sectors allow students to apply theory in professional settings and gain insight into industry operations.

Bachelor’s internships focus on developing operational skills, customer service, and workplace professionalism, while Master’s internships emphasise strategic thinking, leadership, and management experience. Through academic supervision and industry mentorship, students enhance employability, build professional networks, and graduate well-prepared for successful careers in the global hospitality and tourism industry.

Casa College facilitates a four-and-a-half-month paid Summer Industrial Placement at selected partner hotels and restaurants across the island. This placement allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience in a real hospitality environment while earning an income and developing practical, industry-relevant skills.
